This cozy cottage with amazing reading retreat is perfect for the adventurer at heart. Waterfront with 2 kayaks and a small boat with oars (trolling motor and battery for rent). 3 miles to the Beach. Fish for flounder, drum, crabs, etc from the backyard. Use the kayak or boat to explore a sand bar or just float around the Marsh. The View is amazing! Steps from the water. The home is on a Busy Road but once you enter the sunroom you feel like you are in paradise. There will be some road noise.

Pet friendly and centrally located within the town of Beaufort, this rental space is one of a kind! Bike or walk to shops, restaurants and attractions downtown. We provide the bikes! Beaufort has many special tours, historic sites , events, and fun things to do! After a busy day , relax on the top deck where the view is spectacular with sightings of wild ponies and egrets. Relax and unwind with your family in the small quaint town of Peletier. Just a few minutes away from Emerald Isle. Captains Quarters is tucked away at the end of a cul de sac in a rather quiet neighborhood. The home is just minutes away from Emerald Isle, Historic Swansboro, and Carteret County Speedway. Captains Quarters has a community dock and boat launch (1/4 mile away). Smaller boats and/or boats with minimal draft will have no navigational issues.

This home sits in a family friendly neighborhood that is in walking distance to Wilson Bay Park, Sturgeon City and the Riverwalk area of downtown Jacksonville. Very close, as well, to Camp Lejeune, Marine Corps Air Station and Beirut Memorial. If Kayaking is your thing, check out the pictures! Public kayak ramps are available at Sturgeon City.
