This is a lovely property located in a quiet court. It backs onto the Ovens River so the views are amazing with natural bush land which is seen through the lounge room and dining room windows. It has an open fireplace and ducted heating. In the main bathroom there is a bath spa. There are bikes to use on the scenic tracks along the river. If you're looking for a peaceful environment and like restaurants, cafes, hotels and shopping but still want the bush setting, this may suit you.

A place to relax, situated on a 5 acre property with lots of space for parking. Our home is adjacent to this accommodation, we are not tolerant of drugs and parties. Minimum 2 night stay. 20A outlet for EV charging. Hot Tub / Spa for relaxing and soaking out the pains of a long drive. North east Vic has a plethora of things to see and do, no matter your taste. Wark Cottage (circa 1895) named after the original owner William Frederick Wark, has been meticulously restored to modern day standards while retaining its worker cottage roots. Original features throughout complete with pressed tin finishes, hardwood floors and working fireplace. Wark Cottage draws you back in time and creates a tranquil and relaxing place to locate yourself while visiting Chiltern and surrounds.

The Old Butcher's House Benalla - Cottage Charm

Step through the ornate stained glass door and soak up the period charm of a self-contained oasis built in 1887. The blend of original features and modern styling includes 12-foot cedar ceilings, Murray pine floors, lead light windows, and original fireplaces. (The fireplaces are not functional and are for decor purposes only. (Split air conditioners and Hydronic heating keep you at your desired temperature).
