(Edit 22/12/25: Unfortunately we were affected by the recent fires in Dolphin Sands. Our block was burned, but the Lighthouse itself was saved by firefighters. The beautiful surrounding bush has been lost. See photos) We think our architecturally designed house is a perfect romantic getaway. We built it for the view, so you can relax with a coffee/wine and enjoy the best of Tasmania's east coast, in comfort. Externally blending in with its environment and internally featuring detailed timberwork using Tasmanian Oak giving a natural feel. Our 2 story house is nestled in a private bushy street, with amazing views of the Derwent River, South Hobart, Sandy Bay & beyond. The home is spacious and private, yet surrounded by (harmless) local wildlife. You will see many wallabies grazing on the property.

Private, self-contained cabin in the Huon Valley close to Cygnet (7 min), Bruny Island & Hobart (50 min), Hartz Mountain National Park & World Heritage Area (1 hr). Bush surrounds, stunning views of the Huon River & Hartz mountains. Beaches, bushwalking, markets, relax by the fire or on the deck & admire the view.
