The boat ramp is a short two min drive and we are seven minutes by car to Taupo township. The perfect spot for your next break. The views are amazing! A special Kiwi experience!

This house is beautifully presented with everything you need to either work or relax. Great quality Beds & Linen. Excellent Hot Water pressure. Fully equiped kitchen. Log Fire and Air conditioning. Sky TV, including Sport & Movies. Wifi. If you need to work while staying at Number 12, there is a gorgeous desk situated in the large bedroom. Large back yard.

Dreamy sunsets over Lake Taupo & Ruapehu

Our modern home is 15 minutes from Taupō yet feels like a private hideaway. Quiet and secluded, it looks out to Lake Taupō and Mount Ruapehu, with stunning sunsets. Ideal year-round, it has outdoor areas with BBQ, large windows and a double-sided fireplace. Whakaipo Bay is 5 minutes away for swimming or walking, with plenty of bush tracks nearby. Not suitable for children. Hairdryer, toiletries and iron not provided (sorry guests keep taking them and it’s to hard to constantly replace).

Echolands Valley Lodge

This homestead is 7.5kms from Taumarunui and situated on a Stud Sheep & Cattle farm thats surrounded by everyday country life. It is set is on a large section amongst a variety of beautiful plants, shrubs and trees. You can visit the many attractions nearby including The New Sky Waka Gondolas up Mt Ruapehu only 49kms away or relax and enjoy some quiet country life. It has a log fire to keep you warm in winter and open plan with doors opening off every room onto a deck for hot summers.

The mezzanine floor, accessed by a steep staircase, has a sofa, 42" TV , Freeview, DVD, WIFI. An extra 32" TV with Chrome-cast is downstairs.

It's a place to relax: snuggle up with a book from the small library, cook something delicious in the well appointed kitchen, have a run on the treadmill, share a glass of wine around the family dining table, or chill out in your comfortable room. Taumarunui is central to a range of outdoor activities. There are mountain bike trails, and tramping trails. Situated between 2 rivers provides fishing and kayaking experiences. We are about 35 minutes from Mt. Ruapehu and Whakapapa ski village. We are located about 4 Ks from Taumarunui town which has a supermarket, restaurants and other places of interest. please note: microwave only for heating food

The Tree House with hot tub @ Wood Pigeon Lodge

The Tree House is set on a small hill in the tree tops, requiring being able to climb multiple steps for access through the bush. At the top you receive stunning views of the surrounding forest. This eco house generates its own electricity and is designed to capture the sun. The two person wood fired hot tub is the perfect way to relax after a day skiing or climbing the Tongariro Crossing.
