Peatswood Cottage - Escape to the countryside

The Peatswood cottage is set within 500 acres of parkland and farmland and is the perfect escape for you to come and relax with family and friends. A quaint and characterful house with bedroom views down the front park, an inviting kitchen and living room, bathroom, wi-fi and garden. The stunning Hodnet Hall gardens and Hawkstone Park follies are a short drive away. If you don’t want to get in the car, walk along the canal into town (20 mins) for lunch or a glass of wine in the sun.

Our family of 5 people plus an Airedale Terrier will give you a warm welcome and will do everything we can to help you enjoy your stay. Simply furnished and comfortable, you can relax inside the cottage or explore the garden - the patio, the hammock, the fire-pit, or the BBQ, or just sitting in the damson orchard admiring the blossom!

This is a modern, self-contained annex in a quiet rural location, with your own front door. Downstairs is spacious with a private bathroom and over bath shower, generous kitchen with basic food provisions and utensils and living space with TV. The light and airy double bedroom upstairs provides stunning views of the surrounding countryside. Orchard Cottage Rural Retreats is home to two luxury Glamping Pods, The Laurels and The Beeches (Dog Friendly Pod) – situated in Pell Wall just a short drive or walk from the Market town of Market Drayton. Next-door to our site we have a Secure Dog Exercise Area ‘The Dogs Paddocks’ available for private hire we also have many lovely walks on the doorstep and a traditional pub The Four Alls inn at the end of the drive. This large living/bedroom space has its own private access for the guest's sole use. Situated in the quiet village of Betley it is walking distance to the village shop and three pubs (two serve food). Lots of places for country walks and has easy access to the M6/A500, Keele University and Crewe mainline rail station.
