You’ll love our place because of the quiet location close to all, the comfy beds, and the cook's kitchen. We have been residents of Newport Beach for over 30 years, and live nearby. Come relax in your own private studio on Balboa Island. Queen size bed and pull out sofa bed provide plenty of room for all of your sleeping needs, as well as a mini fridge, microwave, and Keurig for your convenience. The main street of Balboa Island has everything you would need during your visit including shops, restaurants, market, The Village Inn bar, bike rentals, and many sweet tooth favorites like Dad's Donuts and Sugar 'n Spice serving their famous frozen bananas and Balboa Bars.

Located on the second floor and includes one car garage parking spot. The bungalow is a block away from Corona Del Mar Beach in the "Flower Streets," surrounded by multimillion dollar homes. CDM Village—known for quaint shops, café’s, bakeries, and restaurants—is just around the corner. Disneyland is 20 miles away.

Historic "Speak Easy" Cottage (circa 1923)

Vintage beach cottage w/ modern-day conveniences (central heat & A/C), Apple TV, DVD, vintage appliances, incl. dishwasher) on the quiet-end of Balboa Island; tree-lined street, steps to beaches on South Bayfront; 2 blocks to Balboa Island ferry and Island Market. Cottage was built in 1923 and served as a "Speak Easy" (a bar during the prohibition era ) with many famous actors, musicians, singers patronizing the site (John Wayne, James Cagney & Humphrey Bogart) just to name a few.
