Vigelandsparken is one of the 'must see' places in Oslo, it combines nature and sightseeing: it is a large park area with small ponds and cute garden houses that also features 212 bronze and granite sculptures designed by Gustav Vigeland - you might have seen some of them on postcards from Norway.

One of the finest pieces of architecture projects in Oslo! It is the home of The Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, and the national opera theatre in Norway. A design that of Snøhetta was chosen between 350 competition entries. Several art projects were commissioned for the interior and exterior of this Opera House. Among them She Lies, a sculpture constructed of stainless steel and glass panels by Monica Bonvicini. It is permanently installed on a concrete platform in the fjord adjacent to Opera House and floats on the water moving in response to tides and wind to create an ever-changing face to viewers.
