A 10-minute walk takes you to the Wild Pacific Trail, town center, beaches, restaurants, surf shops, & the harbour (w/ sea lions!). Surf beaches are a 12–15 min drive.

The Salty Den is a recently renovated clean and comfortable simple ground floor studio suite in family home. This suite has a separate entrance, queen sized bed and is steps away from Big Beach, Black Rock Resort and downtown core. Includes kitchenette (bar fridge, dishes, kettle, coffeemaker, sink, microwave and toaster oven. No stovetop), t.v, full bathroom (with shower, no tub) and small covered outdoor space to store your boards and outdoor toys. Pet friendly with a dog and cats on site.

One of the best storm-watching places in Ucluelet! Sit outside on the private deck, breathe the clear coastal air and listen to the sound of the ocean and the charming ringing of the bell buoy.
