Only 1 mile to Jim Mountain trail head for access to the Shoshone N.F. & a short walk to the community's Privet Shoshone River access, Shore & fishing. Welcome to Lazy Bear Cabin! This newly built home is ideally located between the historic town of Cody, Wyoming and the East entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The cabin features mountain modern décor and furnishings throughout the home, which compliment the majestic vistas outside. Winter & Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone’s East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from Nov 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026.

This is a prime hunting area (53) with accommodations for horses. The cabin is up @ approx. 7,600 ft. It sleeps @ least 12 people with lots of room to spread out. With the STEEP, LONG, DIRT road it's required to have a AWD/4WD vehicle but when you get to the top, there are stunning views, wildlife & a large cabin that feels like home.
