Welcome to Lazy Bear Cabin! This newly built home is ideally located between the historic town of Cody, Wyoming and the East entrance of Yellowstone National Park. The cabin features mountain modern décor and furnishings throughout the home, which compliment the majestic vistas outside. Winter & Spring Travel Notice: Cody offers plenty to enjoy year-round! Please note that Yellowstone’s East Entrance and most park roads are closed to regular vehicle traffic from Nov 1, 2025 through May 1, 2026.

The Double L Bar Cottage is in the beautiful Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem nestled at the base of the Absaroka Mountains of Northwest Wyoming. The homestead cabin is located 30 miles southwest of Cody, Wyoming, and 90 minutes from the East Gate to Yellowstone National Park. Hardpan Creek can be heard from the cabin and guests enjoy our abundant trails, hiking, fishing, hunting, biking, camping, stargazing, and photographic opportunities. Abundant wildlife provides a safari like experience.

This property is a regular for mule deer and white tail, along with our horses and cattle! This cabin offers a full kitchen to make a romantic meal or BBQ on the back deck. From the queen size log bed to the antlers on the wall, this cabin is sure to make you feel right at home!

There is men's and women's bathhouse within 100 yards. This cabin is right next to the creek and has a mini frig in it. It has a ceiling fan/light, plug-ins, wi-fi,and a wall mounted AC/Heat unit. All of our cabins (10) are for a 2 person max. This "honeymoon" cabin as we call it is set off from the others and offers a bit more privacy. Our property bordering creek is right next to this cabin and the deck on the front of this cabin offers unrestricted views of the Yellowstone valley.

The Bunkhouse has a large private deck overlooking a small water fall that runs throughout the year. Includes BBQ grill, shower, bathroom and kitchenette (with refrigerator, Nu wave cook tops), microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, Direct TV. Starlink can be touchy at times (WIFI). The firepit maybe used when the fire marshal allows use and not high winds.
