A 20 min drive to Ski Martock, the lakehouse is fully winterized! Watch the sunset over the lake with a glass of wine or a beer from the deck or dock. Enjoy the quiet. Kayaks and paddle boards are provided for summer fun. In winter, Ski Martock is just 8 minutes away. The property is conveniently located near a gas station, corner store, and liquor store—perfect for a relaxing or adventurous getaway!

The Hideaway is a one and a half acre lakefront property in New Russell, N.S It is only 20 minutes to Ski Martock, 10 minutes to New Ross, 1 hour to Halifax and 35 minutes to both Chester (South Shore) or Kentville (Annapolis Valley). The cottage features 3 bedrooms upstairs and a bathroom, the main floor has a kitchen, dining room and living room the downstairs has 1 bedroom a recreation room, bathroom and laundry. Minimum of 6 people over 6 people $25.00 per night per person if approved.

My cottage is very modern and unique; it sits on a private 5 acre lot surrounded by woods overlooking Middle lake with stunning sunrises. Enjoy being engulfed by nature with the comfort of everyday amenities including a hot tub and even an arcade with over 800 retro games! I now have a dock at the lake for swimming or tanning and a canoe is available for use as well. Ski Martock/Ontree, Bent Ridge Winery are within a 10min drive from Chalet Hamlet.

We have covered outside dining, where many meals and games have been played rain or shine.
