Whether it’s the (new cast iron) soaking tub on the back porch, the two hammocks, our giant firepit, or the comfy king bed in the loft, you’ll want to sit, sip, snuggle and tell tall tales as the sun sets and stars shine. Second small bedroom doubles as an office. A gas stove twinkles inside while an antique spiral staircase adds elegance. Fully-equipped kitchen, laundry, and Starlink to provide top-tier connectivity. We’re kid friendly and dog positive too!

Lost River Solar is a stunning contemporary house on 36 acres near Lost River State Park. Architect designed for passive solar heat w/radiant concrete floors. Four sets of wrap around glass doors provide panoramic views! Great Room open to kitchen & dining. Upstairs has 2 suites w/kings, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bedroom Loft w/ladder, & hall bath. Enjoy mountains, hot tub, campfire, & stars. Property has private swim pond w/floats & treehouse! High speed Wifi & 72" TV. We may approve 1 dog w/cleaning fee.

Wheeling home with a view away from everyone

It is a 200 year old 2 story house living room, dining room, kitchen, bath first floor, 2nd floor 3 bedrooms. Back porch off the 1st floor looks down over the hill. Quiet area with wildlife from rabbits, coyotes, and deer. Is a good place just to unwind. Lots of parking. You will have access to 110 acres if you like to walk around. We are very pet friendly. There are a few Great Pyrenees dogs who patrol the area to keep coyotes and other animals away from the houses. Not handicap accessible.

With a convenient location and charming interior, The Zelek House offers its guests a comforting, cozy stay. As a tribute to locals who lived and loved well in their homes for many decades, The Zelek House embodies a sense of family and warmth within its walls. Enjoy the original hardwood floors, a few of Ms. Zelek's pieces of furniture, and other relics to honor our local people and past. Enjoy this unique "base camp" while visiting our National Park and sites in southern West Virginia.

Want a break from being a muggle? Make some memories and get sorted in the tiny great hall, camp out at the cup, sleep in a common room, head for the magical candy shop, and solve the puzzles in the herbology themed escape room! Small details abound from the familiar characters in portraits to the potions cabinet, the car in the tree, the Lumos & Nox switches, & much more. All just outside the New River Gorge National Park! Make some memories at this unique and family-friendly place.

There are 50+ miles& 23000+ acres of hiking and biking trails to be explored in Sleepy Creek Wildlife Management Area, directly adjacent to the house

Enjoy the comforts and luxuries of home while enjoying the fresh air and forests of a trip to the mountains. You'll also have easy access to our small-town amenities while being a short drive from some of West Virginia's favorite destinations like Spruce Knob and Seneca Rocks. You can also stay in and enjoy the mountain view without ever leaving the back porch.
