Our lake access is close enough to bike/walk, but we prefer to drive into the access w/all of our gear! @ the gated access you will find a swimming area, boat launch, grills, screened in & open pavilion, and a playground. Located in beautiful Thomaston, Georgia , Stillmeadows is home to two privately owned, authentic, 1885 cabins. 14 acres of peaceful surroundings with a stocked pond and row boat for your use. Farm animals complete the experience. The property is located only 75 minutes from the Atlanta Airport. Stillmeadows is close to Sprewell Bluff, which offers hiking, mountain biking, fishing and kayaking on Flint River (known for beautiful shoals and big shoal bass).

A short drive to Callaway Gardens & Roosevelt Park. Few people even know it exists except the owners whose family has occupied this land since 1835 . An hour South of Atlanta, the cabin is not primitive, it has all the modern convenience sitting on a 20 ac tract with bigger tracts of land adjoining. I have a five person sleep accommodation but if you are a larger family I can make an allowance. It is a very safe area and we are available if you need us.
