Welcome to our “bakhuisje”: a national monument from +- 1700. The house is cozy and comfortable; living downstairs, bed is upstairs on the mezzanine. It has a cozy electric fireplace and a comfy couch. The bathroom has everything needed. Kitchenette (without cooking) with small fridge + coffee/tea and a beautiful view (vegetable garden, greenhouse, fruit trees). Of course WiFi and a workplace. Beautiful surroundings for walking/cycling and a small sandy beach in the river at 2 minutes walking.

In the heart of Gouda, on the first Fair Trade shopping street in the Netherlands, you'll find our picturesque and authentic cottage. Fully equipped with a lovely (shared) city garden. Step out the famous gate and explore beautiful Gouda! Baartje Sanders Erf is a neighbor of Bed&Baartje and is located next to each other in the courtyard.

Tiny House: 'The Henhouse' in Geervliet

A lovely old (1935) Hen House is the basis of this little studio (Tiny House). It is self supporting and is situated in Geervliet, a lovely old little town, very near the beaches of Hellevoetsluis, Rockanje and Oostvoorne. Also the medieval city Brielle is very nearby. We also love to cook outside, and when you need a BBQ or even a wood oven to make your own pizza's!, it's there! Inside there is already different kinds of tea and filter coffee and a coffee machine ready to use.

Hi! We are Lars and Erin and we live in beautiful Gouda. Erin is from the USA (Nebraska), and I grew up in Gouda. In 2019 we exchanged the city center for a beautiful house on the outskirts of Gouda. We chose this house because of the beautiful garden, but also because the garage gave us the opportunity to turn it into a cozy guesthouse for you to come and experience Gouda and the Netherlands! In short, a great holiday home in this corona period. You are more than welcome.

No breakfast available. The cottage is en-suite with shower, toilet & washbasin, 2 comfortable beds next to each other, a dining area and a sitting area. The cottage also has got a mini-kitchen for small meals and there are tea and coffee making facilities. (Nespresso) 2 bikes and public transportcards to borrow. No children or baby’s without swimming diploma. Frontyard with cal and camera; backyard has nò cal and camera.

Consider visiting the characteristic cheese market on Thursdays, one of the musea or the longest church in the Netherlands, The St John.

Our rebuild shed is a wonderful place to relax, partly due to alpacas Guus, Joop, Ted, Freek, Bloem and Saar and mini donkeys Bram and Smoky who will greet you on arrival. With Rotterdam and Gouda just around the corner, our casa is a wonderful base for a fun day out! Our casa has a living room, bathroom with shower/toilet and a sleeping loft. Please note there is no extensive cooking facilities.
