It's a prefect place to unwind, relax and spend time outdoors, now with a TV in the living room! As of mid June 2026: Due to the extra dry winter and high fire risk we are discouraging any fires in the outdoor fire pit.

The home is just outside Boise National Forest in Wildlife Canyon and an hour out of Eagle, Meridian and Boise. Guests will have access to the entire home. The original train depot for the logging town of Horseshoe Bend was moved to this incredible property right on the Payette River. Built in 1908 this historic depot has two separate rooms available for rent on a nightly basis. Located next door to the iconic Riverside Restaurant means there is always good food nearby. Idahoans travel to this destination restaurant right on the river for the scenic view, country feel, and homey atmosphere.

Surrounded by nearly 45 acres of secluded mountain forest a mile above the South Fork of the Payette River between Banks and Crouch, this private yurt offers true off-grid living with modern comforts. No running water, we provide fresh water and a clean porta-potty.
