You will be spoilt for choices with some excellent pubs and restaurants in the area with the fabulous Duke of Cumberland pub a short walk away.

Our hideaway offers the perfect getaway. Soak up the peace and quiet, take in the amazing view and relax surrounded by ancient woodland, only 50 miles from London. Prince's Forge is a newly converted cottage with its own private parking and courtyard garden, located on the edge of the downland village of Peasemore. It is situated on a quiet country lane, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB), and has views across the neighbouring fields. It is within easy reach of the A34 and M4, and the local market towns of Newbury, Wantage and Hungerford. The nearest pub for good food and a drink is a short walk away and the local farm shop is close by.

Comfortable 2 bedroom cottage in converted barn

A private and extremely comfortable furnished converted barn in a quiet rural and beautiful setting. The barn has its own entrance with an open-plan sitting room and a fully equipped kitchen. Please let us know if you would like any breakfast, but we will leave milk tea and coffee. Comfortable double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and single room with ensuite upstairs. We can add an extra futon for a child in the single room so the whole space can fit a family of four.
