Sunny day BBQ’s using the outdoor kitchen/BBQ facilities, & evenings sitting around the firepit or soaking in the hot tub. Adults & children will just love it. River Rose Retreat is a cute and cosy shepherds hut, located along side the stunning river Hamble, in the quaint village of Botley. The Shepherds Hut, which is within walking distance from Botley village and train station, has it's own garden with hot tub, seating area and fire pit, surrounded by trees whilst gazing out on to the river. Although we adore dogs ourselves, unfortunately no dogs are allowed.

The Cottage has been recently extended and refurbished with everything you will need to make your stay enjoyable. Perfectly located between Southampton and Portsmouth, with lovely walks, pubs, restaurants and the Hamble River less than a 10 minute walk away. We have large spacious rooms with a fully equipped modern kitchen. We have private parking for 2 cars and the property faces the woodlands that make for lovely strolls.
