This house was built in 1888 but was completely remodeled in 2017 to update all the amenities and to revive the beautiful historical details. This house is situated on 75 acres of woods and farm ground near Lake Shafer in Buffalo, IN. It is approximately 10 miles North of Indiana Beach. It is secluded enough for a much needed get away but located close enough to enjoy all the activities the area has to offer. This house is great for families and for a couples get away.

Unique tranquil get away. Built in 1931 is a very authentic rustic cabin , full of love and gives you a feeling of what it would be like to live in 1931 yet a few luxuries for todays world. The cabin is small & cozy, queen size bed in bedroom, full size sofa bed , 2 small futons in loft that would sleep 2 kids. Sleep 6 if 2 of guest were kids or young teens . 3bedroom 1bath living room along w dining room full kitchen and laundry room. 65 ft of water frontage with dock. there is a gas grill along w fire pit on deck with lots of seating. We also have a tiki bar. THIS IS A HOUSE RENTAL ONLY. We have our personal electric boat lifts you can use when renting the house. 65ft of shore front that is exclusive and private to abnb renters for laying out and swimming.

The backyard has access directly to the river, where you can sit around the firepit and watch the water go by as you relax with your family and friends. This house is located just down the road from the town park and walking distance to the riverside rentals. Please be aware you are not in a big city, some resources will be limited.
