This studio is located in Welches, OR. It is the perfect location to access recreational activities in the Mt Hood area - only 18 minutes from Skibowl and 30 minutes from Timberline or Meadows. The studio is located on the second floor inside the main house and shares a common entry. Welcome to this riverfront cabin with a brand new hot tub overlooking the beautiful Salmon River. While conveniently off hwy 26 and near Mt. Hood, you’ll feel immersed in nature with the sound of the river and the old growth trees. The cabin has been recently remodeled yet the charm and character of the existing structure remain. You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

You'll have the entire ground floor, a two-room suite with large window views of Mt. Hood & the Columbia River. Windsurfers, kiters & sailboats zip across the river right below your hot tub & patio. The bedroom has a TV & comfortable queen bed. The TV room has a gas fireplace & 46-inch TV. Our food prep area has a microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and fridge. It does not have a sink or stove. White Salmon is 3/4 mile away and Hood River is 10 min. away, directly across the river.

Walking down the path from the parking area you will see the confluence of Canyon Creek and the Washougal River and cabin nestled amongst cedar trees where you will be staying. The cabin was originally built in the 1920's as a vacation home for a predominate Portland Judge. A century later and the spirit of this escape is alive and well with a full remodel providing modern amenities in a beautiful and rustic setting.

The Woodlands House

The Woodlands House sits on five acres of an old growth private forest. The home itself is a beautiful 4 bedroom home with two outdoor decks surrounded by towering pine trees. It's the perfect place to get out of the city and disconnect in nature, or to use as your base for all the PNW adventures. It's a quick 30 min drive to Mount hood or the entrance to the Colombia Gorge, and only 45 min from PDX Airport.
