For adventure seekers, it is the ideal home base. We are about a 30 minute drive from Gold Bug Hot Springs. We are in walking distance to local restaurants, bars, and the library. A great thrift store is right across the street! There is a local spring where you can fill your water bottles with fresh water.

The Uptown House is the perfect home base and Challis is a great starting point to explore the many sites of the Salmon Challis NF, fish the Salmon River, or simply enjoy laid back mountain living.
