Enjoy the view, relax with a book or Dip in the pool if it's a hot day. Walk to local eatery for lunch or dinner. Personal favourite is Fourth Lock Skate park /Rec Center 2 min drive. Newly built in 2021 as a place to hideaway in nature. Set on a private wooded 9 acre lot with lake access to Powers Pond. We have two Kayaks available for use. There are many walking trails on the property for you to explore nature! The contemporary and rustic features of the cottage highlight country living in Herring Cove Village, just 15 minutes to the city of Halifax. Stay put and relax in the hot tub or Herring Cove has hiking, sight seeing, ocean views, and local places to eat.

The Ravine

Welcome to the Ravine! This is a self contained guest suite with its own entry. It contains all you will need including a large bed-sitting area, full 3 piece bath, queen size bed, sofa, TV, kitchenette, breakfast nook and lovely little deck looking out towards the Maples and to Lake Banook - famous with paddlers, kayakers and rowers from around the world. You'll feel like you're in the country in this quiet corner of our garden, just a pitter patter from the lake.
