Enjoy panoramic views of Georgian Bay from this charming modern cottage on Paynter's Bay. Only eight minutes from Owen Sound, our cottage also borders on the quiet and beautiful Hibou Conservation Area where you can enjoy birding, hikes in forest and shoreline, and a great sandy beach and modern playground for the kids. Cuddle up next to the gorgeous modern Morso woodstove. Adventure awaits you with lots of skiing, biking, snowmobiling and the waterfall wonders of the Niagara Escarpment nearby.

Four miles south takes you to Saugeen Conservation Centre where you’ll see Swans a swimming and the nature trails will take you to the Sulphur Spring. Hanover’s P&H Centre hosts an indoor pool and ice rink. A short drive gets you to the beaches on Lake Huron. Enjoy horse races in summer and Casino.

Experience a unique winter camping retreat for two in our wood-stove-heated tiny home. Complete with an outdoor shower, outhouse, covered hot tub, and a propane BBQ for cooking. The campfire pit and picnic table sitting area are open all year. This holiday rental setup is designed for couples and located on our working hobby farm right off a main highway. * Please note, the outdoor shower and bar closes seasonally due to freezing temperatures with no alternative available. WINTER SPECIAL Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located place. 30 to 40 minutes to Port Elgin and Southampton, and 75 minute drive to Tobermory. The hot tub is always waiting. Full kitchen and bathroom available for your own use. New queen size bed replacing the queen sized pull out couch. In the warmer weather there is two kayaks and a canoe available for guests use plus four adult life jackets. Also close to Harrison park and the mill dam and you can go by river.

It is nestled in the edge of the bush, that provides kilometres of hiking trails. The cabin is also situated on a pond so you can spend your days swimming, canoeing, fishing and exploring this nature lover's paradise. Spend your time here unplugging from your everyday life and reconnecting to the healing properties of a natural environment.

Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally located walkout apartment. The suite backs onto the Niagara escarpment and sections of the Bruce Trail. Though you’ll feel secluded in nature, head out front and you can walk downtown in less than 15 minutes. Rest well in the king-sized bed that looks out onto the walking bridge in the back yard. Enjoy cozy evenings in with a movie and a fire, or relax with a book in your private backyard sitting area.

Bunkie in the Country

Now CLOSED until spring The bunkie has a great view of the sunrise. It's a quiet rural area (please note it is a GRAVEL road). Good for couples, solo adventurers, hunters, someone looking to be outside of town. The bunkie is located approx. 30 feet behind our home. For allergenic reasons and safety of animals, we do not allow pets. May not be suitable for those with mobility issues (small hill & stairs). The bunkie has heat and A/C!
