Welcome to the River House! Stay in our renovated home on the Choptank River of MD's Eastern Shore, with your own low-tide beach and magnificent sunsets. We offer a peaceful location and thoughtful detail, creating a memorable getaway for a relaxing weekend or remote work location. Enjoy a day on the river with our paddle board or 2 kayaks, and end the day around the firepit. In cool weather, cozy up next to the fireplace. Also, visit nearby towns--St. Michaels, Easton, Oxford, and Chestertown.

Stay in peace at this smoke-free, quiet abode. Within 10 mins of Milford (Bayhealth Sussex, Walmart, shopping, pharmacies, restaurants, etc.). 15 mins: DE Turf, Milton, breweries. 20-30 mins: Bowers Bch, Pickering Bch, Sports at the Bch, Dover & Georgetown, theaters & casinos. 30-45 mins: other beaches and outlets. Please review Guide Book and House Manual after booking, and call us after a last minute booking, so we can tell you how to get in. Snacks, water, etc. provided while supplies last.

Bowers Beach: A Slice of Paradise

Please note: We require guests to book the total amount of persons staying as we charge per-guest. We do not have a TV and our home is not suitable for unsupervised young children. Between Whitwell’s Delight and Bowers Beach Road, across from the old Tuthill Brothers Farm, we have a quiet space that is perfect for up to eight people to feel at home; great for couples or a tight-knit group of friends or family. We also have records, board games and puzzles to enhance the feeling of a cozy stay.

John Wesley Inn Carriage House "B"

The Carriage House building is located 1/2 block to the beach and two blocks to the center of the historic downtown. It offers two individual apartments, each with two floors of living space. Apartment "B" is a 1 bedroom, 1 bath. Apartment "A" is 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 baths. Both have a porch and a bedroom balcony. Pricing is for double occupancy. Each can accommodate a maximum of 4 people (children welcome). Conveniences include a full kitchen and complement of electronics. Central air and heat.

Baybreeze Bungalow Luxury Couple’s Retreat

Baybreeze bungalow by the bay, is just blocks from the beautiful Cape May sunsets and the Cape May-Lewes Ferry. The entire bungalow is your home during your stay. It is a short walking distance to the beach and a close drive or bike-ride to the center of Cape May. This lux bungalow sleeps 2 comfortably and is great for adult getaways. All amenities for a great, worry-free, and relaxed stay are provided for you. We do not allow dogs/pets in the bungalow. There will be a $100 penalty.

Two living rooms, fully equipped kitchen, family style dining area. Wrap around decks on multiple floors. Firepit, Adirondack seating, lawn games for enjoying 1.5 acres with water views. Community sandy beach across the street for strolling & relaxing.

One of the 4 bedrooms and the 1/2 bath is in the 2 story guest house.

Located right on the water with spectacular views of the Chester River, the house is renovated in a cozy, casual farmhouse style. While you will love the house you will spend your days outside enjoying life on the river thanks to your private access to the water and lots of water fun!

Contemporary pieces blended with rustic decor creates a relaxed and eclectic feel in the great room. The 2 bedrooms are a spa-romantic style in one bedroom (new queen!) and an elegant travel feel in the other (queen). This is a one-floor, private suite with a separate entrance. Full bathroom and simple galley-style kitchen. I am nestled a half a mile off of a secondary road on a ten-acre wooded lot. Lots of wildlife and extremely peaceful, a perfect getaway!
