Moose Knob is our little home away from home. Here you’ll have all the comforts of city living, with the peace and quiet of country life. From stunning hikes in Dolly Sods to a cozy evening around the fire, there’s something for everyone less than 3 hours from D.C. & 3 hours from Pittsburgh. There’s no cell service, but we have fast Starlink internet. So bring your friends and, of course, your pups to see what we love so much about our side of the mountain. No Cell service or electric. I have a solar and a box fan you can use in loft. Has a Propane cooktop, and heater, solar lights, full size mattress in loft and one person can sleep on sofa . Bring sleeping bags. Cabin is 10 ft X 10ft. Behind locked gate. 4X4 or AWD recommended. Rd is dirt and steep in places. Located 5 miles from entrance to forest rd 75 and 2 1/2 miles to entrance of forest rd 19. Located off of Jordan Run Rd. Has a bucket and degradable bags for bathroom. No pets.

Cabin G is a rustic camping cabin in the woods, overlooking the creek- no plumbing or AC power. It has heat, battery-powered permanent lighting and a private portapotty. Outside there is a private fire pit and picnic table, and a charcoal grill and a propane tabletop stove are available at no charge. The cabin is furnished with beds, chairs, table, couch, and nightstand. Showerhouse and outdoor showers are near the main lodge, or inside lodge during the cold season.
