We are located perfectly in the middle between Boston and NYC, 15 minutes to UConn, 20 minutes to the Brimfield Antique show and 40 minutes to the new MGM Casino in Springfield, MA. Our town offers many restaurants, boutique stores and parks all within walking distance along with Art and Music events.There is a Yoga studio, Recording Studio, Dance Studio and Vintage Shop on our premises.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. There is a beautiful river on property where you can swim safely, fish and float down. Only 2-3 feet deep so fun for kids. Fire pit, lighted gazebo and lots of wildlife-nothing better than waking up to see deer in the orchard, hear the peeper frogs at night or watch birds making their nests. There is a shelter near the river with a campfire to enjoy. Located at the end of dead end road so safe for kids to play or ride bikes.

Historic Mansion, Gardens & Meadow

This is a rustic historic Italianate 1841 Mansion - original 9 foot ceilings, native white oak flooring throughout. The mansion and surrounding 4 acres of gardens, lawns, meadow and picnic area are a beautiful quiet place to relax by yourself or to plan with us your events or group gatherings. The 4th bedroom on the 1st floor is available only for groups larger than 6 people. Guest quarters are located in the main part of the house. My wife and I live in a separate part of the house.

The Cottage at Blackberry River Inn

The Blackberry River Inn is Bed & Breakfast, with the main house being a converted Colonial mansion built in 1763. The Inn lies nestled in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains on 27 scenic acres. Breakfast is made-to-order and served in the dining room of the main house. In addition to the main house with its 2 deluxe rooms and 2 suites, the Inn includes the Carriage House with 12 rooms, the Cottage, and an outdoor swimming pool. The Inn is located in Norfolk, founded in 1758.
