This spacious apartment has been lovingly restored and styled by its artist owners and features their original artworks (paintings/lights). A stunning set of 18th century chateau doors divide the living and bedrooms and provide the 'wow factor' of this charming find. 'Atelier 22 York' is situated in York's 'Cultural Quarter', a few minutes walk from the Yorkshire Museum, the Theatre Royal, York Art Gallery and the Minster. The city's top eateries are a stone's throw away : Roots, The Star Inn The City, Betty's, Skosh, Partisan, Le Cochon Aveugle, as well as numerous pubs and bars; a gentle stroll back home at night. The beautifully restored medieval buildings of Stonegate and the Shambles provide the perfect setting for some last minute shopping. Second floor apartment just 10-12 minutes pleasant walk to the Bar Walls (Monkgate), York Minster, and the historic city. Overlooking the River Foss. You can often see swans, and sometimes kingfishers from the Juliet balcony. Accessed by a keysafe. Free parking on site. Safe neighbourhood. Welcome folder in the apartment with local info. Would suit couples, small family, friends. I don't have a lift so three flights of stairs wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues. wifi 37.5 Mbps
