Enjoy cooking in the funky kitchen, an open air shower or soak in the fire bath, or some quality time in our cosy hut. All this is close to Motueka, stunning beaches, Nationalparks etc

Bird's Nest – Charming Sunny Family House

Bird's Nest is a private sunny family house surrounded by a secluded peaceful garden with lots of trees and birds. A perfect place to relax and rest with your family while exploring the Abel Tasman Nationalpark, the Great Taste Cycle Trail or the Richmond Hills. The Richmond Hills have lots of walking and mountain bike trails with fantastic views over the Tasman Bay. Rabbit Island with its wonderful beach and spectacular scenery is also a great place to enjoy the day and just 15 min away by car.

The Cottage is located on a small farm near Nelson. If you are looking for clean, comfortable accommodation, quiet but still near civilization, this is just for you. It is the perfect place to relax and unwind. In tranquil rural surroundings, enjoy a glass of local wine on the deck and uninterrupted views of the night sky. The Cottage is well equipped and has everything you will need for a relaxing stay. An extra fee is charged to access the second bedroom if travelers are not a couple.

Farm the Calm Homestead is nestled amongst a small organic lavender farm at the base of Mt Heslington in beautiful Brightwater, making it a perfect centralised position to explore the Tasman and Nelson regions. Only minutes away from the Great Taste bike trail, river swimming holes up the Lee Valley and The Wairoa Gorge mountain biking park. If you’re after a more relaxing time away you won’t need to leave the property, relax in the sauna and spa or play a game of pool or darts in the bar.

'Atatū' means "dawn" - our favourite time at the property, when the sun travels across the sea to outline the hills and all is peaceful. Atatū is a great base for outdoor adventures in the three National Parks nearby, wine-tasting in local vineyards, olive grove picnics, gallery visits or delicious meals in excellent local eateries. A glorious swimming pool and spa await you upon return. The chef's kitchen & BBQ ensure you can prepare sumptuous meals with delicious local ingredients.
