Take a break and unwind at this peaceful country home just outside of city limits. A Stone's Throw from the interchange of highway 1 and highway 34, as well as the hospital and all that Fairfield offers. This charming cottage has a spacious living room complete with a murphy bed that folds into a desk during the day and has a barn door to close it off as an extra bedroom at night. Enjoy the stocked kitchen, grill on the deck or sit on the porch and soak in the charm of this country cottage.

Sweet Spot

This is the smallest of 4 apartments in a beautifully restored, turn of the century home that was turned into apartments in the 1920s. Three huge sycamore trees surround the house. The fully fenced back yard is a nature retreat complete with pond and sometimes frogs. Large decks surround the back of the house with each tenant having their own share of deck and a BBQ. Private Woodsy Cabin close to River and Keosauqua

Our cabin is located right on the edge of Lacey-State Park, with two spacious bedrooms, fully furnished living room, kitchen and bath. Sit on the deck and watch the deer walk by, enjoy the peace and quiet, with plenty of space to park your boat and recreational vehicles. Downtown Keosauqua is less than half a mile and conveniently located near all that this quaint river town has to offer - dining, shopping, bars, trails, kayaking, fishing, hunting and so much more. Pets not allowed.

Winery - Vineyard Rustic Cabin

The Cabin is located on the site of Wooden Wheel Vineyards and Winery. For over 80 years this building served as a summer kitchen and wood shed for the main house, which was removed in the 60's. It was turned into a weekend cabin in the 90's and remodeled for your enjoyment in 2018. On site you can enjoy free wine tasting and a tour of the vineyard and winery. If the urge strikes you, you can have some R&R by helping out in the vineyard. Or, just take a walk back to our pond/timber.

Welcome to THE ROOST, a great place to relax and recharge! This unique tiny home is located on the Des Moines River. Your personal deck is a great spot to grill and watch river life. Our swing fire gazebo is a great place to unwind. We are located in the famous rural Van Buren County that includes 11 villages - Specialty shops, dining, antiques, golfing & community pool. Lacey state park has many outdoor adventures - Lake Sugema, hunting, fishing & hiking in the forest.

Be at Home on South Avenue B in Washington, Iowa! This cozy yet spacious home is centrally located in Washington just blocks from shopping, dining & coffee on the square or just over 1 mile to the Washington Wellness Park and trailhead of the Kewash Trail. Our home offers two bedrooms and one full bath with laundry. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and sitting area while bedroom 2 can be configured with 1 king or two twin beds allowing flexibility for your stay.

Located behind the food forest and overlooking the sheep pasture, this cabin includes a bedroom, living space, kitchenette, ADA bathroom and wifi. Less than a minute's walk away, a full community kitchen and gathering space is available in the folk school, shared with any other guests on site. The Vernon Street Guest House - Suite 2

Built in 1900 and renovated in 2022, Suite 2 shows little signs of the once quirky old space. Completely private, with all the amenities, it boasts a spacious bedroom, 1 bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living room with a desk for workspace, and a laundry room. While you're here, we hope you are able to relax and enjoy the well lit deck along with a cup of freshly roasted coffee, which we are happy to have provided.
