Stylish Guesthouse in Historic Building near Audubon Park

The interior design and furnishing is modern, but accent walls and other features are constructed of original materials. The guest house has a full kitchen and includes a Keurig coffee maker with pods. The living room has a 55 inch TV and the bedroom has a 32 inch TV. The queen sized bed is a 12 inch memory foam mattress - very comfortable. The Guest House has central air and heat. The bathroom has a lovely glass tile shower. Ceiling height peaks at 13 feet. The Guest House is located in rear of the property. The neighborhood is very safe and the Guest House is particularly safe and secure. I live in the main house and will be available to assist with guest needs. The guesthouse is tucked away behind a gorgeous "shotgun" house and is located in one of the city's most desirable neighborhoods. An urban walker's paradise, it's steps from Magazine Street with its great restaurants, coffee shops, and shopping. The Magazine Street bus is accessible steps from the Guest House. The St. Charles Street car line is a 10 minute walk down State Street. The neighborhood is quite walkable and bike friendly. Please take a look at my house manual. It has many tips for navigating the house and the neighborhood. There is plenty of free parking on the street but no off-street parking.

Enjoy a relaxing getaway at "Casa Verde" ~ set in a picturesque country setting, just 2 minutes from Downtown Covington! Our 3 acre property is surrounded by lush gardens, palm trees, and cascading bamboo. We live on the property, in the main house with our senior dog ~ Stella. Relax by the pool or get in a workout before exploring Covington and the Northshore. The St. Tammany Trace Bike Path is just a short walk or bike ride away. The Balcony Suite is an intimate space with a private bathroom. It was recently Restored/Renovated with new furnishings and fixtures. Monday-Friday 8-5 we're not a quiet corner but on any night it’s relaxing, providing a restful night. Our neighbor, Race & Religious, hosts weddings with live music but never past 11PM. If you need to go to bed early, we might not be a good fit. Uniquely located, close to the Garden District, Arts/Museum District, French 1/4 and the Conventional Center

NOLA Guesthouse with Private Pool

Guesthouse with private outdoor heated, pool! Separate entrance opening to charming courtyard only shared with property owner (host). Walking distance to Magazine Street and street car on St. Charles Ave. Short distance to Audubon Park, French Quarter, Tulane/Loyola, and Garden District. Only registered guests allowed access to property, including pool, at all times. Free Tesla charging. If you wish us to heat the pool, there is a $50/day charge and we need a days notice.

Only registered guests allowed access to property, including pool. NO PETS allowed as there is already a very friendly dog on site.
