The Old Rectory is well placed to explore Cornwall; 6 miles from Looe and Polperro in a peaceful pretty village with a shop, bar and pub The gardens are perfect for relaxing after a day on the beach, walking the coast path or exploring the moors, castles or Cornish gardens. Our heated pool is popular in summer. Gorran has a king sized bed and plenty of room for relaxing in the lounge area. We welcome couples and dogs. Lanreath is a friendly rural village 6 miles from Looe , Polperro or the Bodinnick ferry to Fowey. There are many other places to visit in the area including Bodmin Jail, Charlestown, The Lost Gardens of Heligan, Restormel Castle and the Eden project is just 17 miles away. There are plenty of beaches to choose from and many good walking routes. Lanreath has a small shop and Post office that opens in the morning. The Tipsy Cow in Lanreath is the local bar and has occasional entertainment.

Detached cabin in private grounds

Snuggling in a wooded corner of our paddock the cabin is a lovely secluded escape for two. In one of the quietest parts of Cornwall with complete privacy you will hear the hoots of owls and chorus of birdlife, and with no light pollution the night skies are magnificent. The coast is nearby, with the Fowey estuary just down the road, and glorious beaches and coastal footpath a short drive away. It is roomy and comfortable in all weathers, and comes with a private wild garden.

The Cottage at Trevelyan -rural Cornwall

The Cottage is within the grounds of our home, Trevelyan, in a beautiful rural part of south east Cornwall. Coming by car is essential. It is an old farm building, sympathetically converted using the available space. The shower room is compact but perfectly adequate, there is a bedroom, kitchen/dining room and the living room has folding doors to bring the outside in! Parking is close walking distance from the hut and personal hot tub, which is situated in a secluded privet area in the Cornish country side. Electricity Built in Bathroom with real shower and loo Electric blanket Wood burner Kitchenette if you cant find the dates you like check out one of our other huts, /h/peters-hut /h/gammas-hut No dogs in this one because the grass keeps geting damaged but the 2 huts above dogs are welcome.
