The forest house

The narrow pathway leads on. It divides, widens and continues on to an impressive A-frame at the edge of the estate. Everything is more spacious. The loft bedroom, the kitchen, the shower bathroom and the living room area. The wood burning stove is the “icing on the cake” for a winter stay. The outdoor setting in the remote woods will enchant you! Please note that this house is not suitable for children under 6 years old.

Makrades Home is located in the centre of the picturesque village of Makrades nestled within the olive-covered hills overlooking the West coast of the island. The building itself dates back to the 19th century. However, it offers all modern amenities while at the same time preserving its old character. The owners have personally put hundreds of hours into the house in an effort to achieve this.
