Our location is perfect for playing year round!

Welcome to the Captain’s Residence! This unique historic rental is located on the grounds of Lighthouse Park in Marquette, Michigan, a small peninsular park that juts out into Lake Superior and is capped by the iconic red Marquette Harbor Light. This property is surrounded on three sides by Lake Superior and is the easternmost home in the City! Historically, this home was the residence of Coast Guard Captains of years past until the property was given to the City.

Please note, that during the Summer, we only accept Weekly Bookings....Sunday through Sunday.

Enjoy this lakeside cabin just five minutes from downtown Marquette. Enjoy stunning views along miles of open sand beach and dunes. Nestled amongst towering red pine and white pine. Let the waves of Lake Superior lull you to sleep at night. Depending on the season use the paddle boards, canoe or just walk the shoreline. Sit around the campfire and watch the sun set over the lake. There is a small pond for ice skating in winter (when conditions are right).

The Carriage House on Stevens Lake is perfectly located between Lake Superior and Lake Michigan, making it an ideal location for exploring Upper Michigan. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore, Grand Island, Seeney Wildlife Preserve, Kitchi-iti-kipi, historic Fayette, hiking trails, beaches, waterfalls, and lighthouses are all nearby. Just under 10 miles from downtown Marquette is where you will enjoy local breweries, fresh Lake Superior whitefish, shopping and a variety of local cuisine.
