The Church is a very private 140 year old timber church with gothic windows and high ceilings set in its own lush native garden The living area is spacious with French Doors opening onto a large veranda under shady trees The bedroom is on a mezzanine level with a queen bed Bathroom is large with a long, deep cast iron bath. Pet friendly inside and out. 5 min walk to a nature reserve and Kotara rail station (Sydney line) 15-25 min to beach by car, bus or train very near (1-5 min walk)

The Pool House

“The Pool House” is a pet friendly modern one bedroom guest house & pool for guests exclusive use at the rear of the main dwelling one street back from the waterfront at Port Stephens, Australia’s Blue Water Paradise. The waterfront reserve is a 2 min walk away, continue along the foreshore and in 10 min you can be in the hub of Lemon Tree Passage where you will find the boat launching ramp, park, tidal pool, Marina, Laundromat, Cafés/Restaurants, Post Office, Chemist, Butchers & Bottle Shop!

Listen for koalas grumbling at night and awaken to a chorus of bird calls. Walk the waterfront path thru the koala reserve to Poyers restaurant. Watch for dolphins taking a breath. Ideal for kayaking. There’s Tanilba Golf Course just down the road. Flathead fishing is best just before hightide, right out in front. Please clean fish in sink by boatshed

Relax, swim and walk around this beautiful farmstay on 150 acres. panoramic mountain and river views from every window. The Poolhouse has been upgraded with a new Spa and new Fireplace. ‘Little Kilgour’ Guest House is perfectly located between the spectacular coastline, the ‘Eat Street’ precinct in Darby Street and The Junction Village boutiques, shops and cafes, all within walking distance. It is only a 200m walk across Empire Park to the beach and a bit further along to great surf breaks and ocean baths. Walk along the Bather’s Way from Bar Beach to Merewether or up to the ANZAC Memorial Walk and into Newcastle city.
