Welcome to Rivah Dog Cottage. We pride ourselves in being dog friendly. Located in a peaceful cove just off the Rappahannock River, nature abounds with eagles and herons. Fish off the dock, drop the crab trap in, or just sit and take in the surroundings. Bring your boat or jet ski and ride up to the main river close by. Kayaks, fishing poles, life jackets, and floats are provided. Newly renovated kitchen. Infinity game table, plenty of board games, Peloton, and Strong Wifi! Fenced yard!

The Crab Shack

Enjoy the sunrise at this unique and tranquil getaway! This property was originally a seafood processing facility...hence The Crab Shack! Watch all the action on the water right out the front door with local waterman in and out of beautiful Carter's Creek to and from the Rappahannock River and Chesapeake Bay. There are marinas and The Tides Inn very close by. This property provides privacy and a short 10 minute drive to nearby restaurants and shops in Irvington, Kilmarnock, and White Stone.

The cottage’s 1st floor features an open liv/din/kit area, full bath with large shower and a covered patio. The 2nd floor features a large loft bedroom with a queen bed.

The bathroom which is located on the first floor. Apartment is up a flight of stairs above the garage. Plenty of parking. EV charger available. We have self check in and the host is extremely flexible.. We welcome all tenants! The Birds Nest is a perfect getaway destination for relaxing and fun.
