Welcome to this riverfront cabin with a brand new hot tub overlooking the beautiful Salmon River. While conveniently off hwy 26 and near Mt. Hood, you’ll feel immersed in nature with the sound of the river and the old growth trees. The cabin has been recently remodeled yet the charm and character of the existing structure remain. You will find lots of amenities for an enjoyable stay, while allowing the opportunity to unwind and relax. There is fast wifi (200 Mbps) if you need to stay connected.

Located near the end of a quiet dead end road in Welches, Oregon. Short path to Sandy River. Easy access to HWY 26 and only 15 minutes to Government Camp or Sandy Ridge mountain biking. Enjoy the relaxing surroundings while staying in a newly renovated cabin with all the comforts of home. 2 night min. stay seasonally/Fri/Sat but possibly accept a 1 night stay...just ask. This 190sq/ft cabin can accommodate 2 guests and a furry friend. Perfect for a quaint, quiet getaway! Restaurants and shopping are conveniently located about 1/4 mile away, making it an easy walk to explore. Though a completely private residence, the house does share a lot with my personal cabin. *water pressure issue has been fixed! Niksen House is located just outside of Mt. Hood National Forest, 20 minutes from ski areas and an hour from Portland. The cabin is in a rural residential community and sits next to a 1/2 acre lot giving it an off-the-grid feel with all of the on-the-grid amenities.
