Located at the end of a short gravel lane, this spacious cabin is just 2.2 miles from the heart of Nashville- Indiana's quaint artist colony and tourist destination. Though it is easy to get to, you will feel like you are in the middle of the woods, which surround the house on three sides. You can touch the trees from the lovely decks, which wrap around the house on two levels. A garden, featuring various flowering and local plants, meanders down a rock path to the gazebo, which contains the luxury 6-person hot tub! The sweet smell of cedar and mix of antique and plush furnishings welcome your first step inside the cabin, and the wooded views from the full wall of glass doors beckon you to kick back and start relaxing. Spend your day taking in the beauty of the Brown County State Park, and checking out the area wineries, antique and artisan shops, art galleries, and restaurants in Nashville. Or, stay around the house and cook dinner together in the full kitchen or out on the gas grill while watching your friend (or your self!) reel in the catch-of-the-day at the 3-acre lake. Bait can be found under most rocks in the garden-borrow our shovel! Canoe and life-jackets available. In the evening, snuggle-up around the outdoor fire-pit or inside in front of the wood-burning “Brown County Stone” fireplace. If you so desire, turn on one of the flat screen TVs if you don't want to miss your favorite program or the "big game," or opt to pop-in one of our large selections of DVDs. Finally, enjoy the down-alternative comforters and high thread count towels and sheets as you are lulled to sleep by the peaceful rhythms of the woods... Fireflies and WiFi included FREE OF CHARGE! We are happy to suggest things to do/places to eat/local people to meet (or avoid!) OR will leave you to the peace and quiet the magical cabin ensures. Please be aware of this and use caution when using all stairs at the cabin. 2.Being in the middle of the woods, the occasional mouse or bug can make its way into the house. We make all efforts to keep this to an absolute minimum. Please try to keep an open mind, as an occasional meeting of Mother Nature's critters is a small price to pay for her absolute beauty in this pristine location! (That being said, please let us know if such a meeting occurs).

The Hidden Shroom

The Hidden Shroom is nestled in the woods in a quite neighborhood within walking distance of Nashville. The space is pet friendly with a fenced in yard. Two bedrooms, one bath, full kitchen, outdoor patio with a hot tub & two person sauna. The apartment is in a finished basement with a private exterior entrance. Downtown Nashville is about a 15 minute walk and Hard Truth Hills, The north entrance to the Brown County State Park and the Brown County Music Center are all just a short drive away.

The Lodge at Treetop Retreat

The Lodge at Treetop Retreat is a former recording studio with an AMAZING view! Set atop one of the highest hills in Brown County, this huge space boasts 20 ft ceilings in the open concept great room. With an indoor, jetted, spa tub, gas fireplace (seasonal), pool table, and lots of open indoor space, this is a cool place to unwind. King bed downstairs, and two queen beds in the loft. A front porch with porch swing, and back deck with chairs, and a charcoal grill.
