Our site offers pastoral views and hikes in the forest on our 70 acres near the Shenandoah Valley. You’ll be learning about this straw-bale constructed eco-centric home. Edge Hill is a Historic country Inn situated on 56 acres mid way between Charlottesville and Lynchburg . It was originally owned in the 1760's by John Loving for whom the town of Lovingston is named. The current structure was buit in 1893. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind Log Cabin Studio. We call it, The Cabin-ette. Featuring a King Sized bed, well appointed kitchen, comfortable seating area, and casual dining area, the Cabin-ette is great for extended stays or just a couple of nights. Breakfast is included (hot breakfast service is available from March - December), along with access to the pool, trail system, pavilion, tavern, lake and the remainder of the 130 acre estate/farm.
