With its own beach for launching kayaks or just doing nothing, this cottage has been a favorite due to its proximity to the water, front-row views of nature and simplicity. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

Whether you are nature lovers, riders, or want a quiet personal or romantic retreat, our place is ideal. Walking, hiking, biking trails abound right from the property. Tucked into a magnificent redwood forest the cottage has a gas fireplace, reading chair, futon couch, good lighting, desk, and dining table. The kitchen contains basic staples, including teas and fresh organic eggs from our hens. A large claw-foot tub is in the bathroom and a shower is on the secluded west facing deck.
