Yurt in a private forest area. Walking distance to the cheese factory (ice cream, lunches, snacks), produce stands, and a park. Short drive to Madoc (groceries, beer/ LCBO, parks, beach, bakery, restaurants, etc). Perfect area for star gazing, long walks & bike rides. This yurt is in a camping setting, with indoor compost toilet, seasonal private outdoor shower, no wifi but there is electricity, dishes, indoor hot plate, BBQ, mini fridge, all pots & pans and bedding and clean drinking water.

Bee Keeper's Cabin - a very private retreat

91 acres, trails, total privacy, spring fed lake, solar power/propane heated, gas stove top, out-house, firepit, wi-fi ; canoe/paddleboat (seasonally) Self check in and self cleaning For those who leave a "light foot print" Basic kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes are provided, BUT guests must bring their own drinking water, pillows and bedding and ice for cooler. The Log Cabin is directly across from the Petroglyphs Provincial Park (May-Oct); however, you can hike all year long, even with the gates closed, and also down the road to Stoney Lake with full access to a public beach (May-Oct).
