Redesigned by a local artist & architect, this luxe and cozy home sits at the end of a quiet road, bordering a state park surrounded by native forest. Unwind in your own private bathhouse & sauna along the creek after hiking/biking on Galbraith trails or exploring Bellingham. The fully equipped house includes a chef’s kitchen, high-end finishes, local art, and a blend of modern/vintage charm, making for a truly memorable stay.

Enjoy a view of Mt Baker in the quiet, beautiful countryside. There are 3 bdrms, kitchen, dining & living areas, covered porch with gas grill , fire pit, & private hot tub. Country sounds abound —coyotes, cows and roosters (right next door). The pool & another hot tub are about 150' away & ALSO AVAILABLE TO OTHER GUESTS ON THE PROPERTY. Reserve the times you want. $25 per day per pet fee. NO ADULT PARTIES AND NO MORE THAN 7 GUESTS at any time during the stay without a charge of $15 per guest.

The two-story structure is located in a forest grove on several wooded acres, across the road from a view of the Nooksack River and valley. This Pacific Northwest corner is renowned for its spawning salmon in season, abundant eagles, and other wildlife.

Drive around the back where parking is provided next to stair entrance. Full kitchen and bathroom, one queen bed, one fold out Futon couch, gas heat stand alone fireplace. Very private. Designed by architect David Neiman & featured in the book "Log Houses of the World," it combines Japanese style features & NW log-frame construction to create a truly unique experience. Included in the rental is use of the 13+ acre wooded property, including access to the middle fork of the Nooksack River. The cabin is close to the year-round outdoor recreational opportunities that the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest provides.

With floor-to-ceiling windows framing views of pristine Pacific Northwest wilderness, this A-frame sanctuary offers the perfect combination of quiet seclusion and modern convenience. Note: the property features a significant (about 60) stair steps to climb. As a result, it may be more challenging to enjoy for those experiencing ambulatory limitations.

Great couples get away: 760 sq ft cabin with a king bed, double head shower & cozy fireplace. Bunk beds (limited headroom on top bunk) & queen sofa bed make it possible for a max of 6 guests.
