Sitting in the shadow of the Beartooth mountains is our family cabin. The Cabin sits atop a bluff that overlooks the Westfork of the Stillwater river and next to a former art gallery. Riverfront access is a short walk down the bluff, with great trout fishing at your fingertips. Multiple national forest access points are a very short drive, that have great recreation opportunities and even better views. Wildlife sightings are a regular occurrence, but do watch for animals on the road.

Stargazers Sanctuary

Nestled in the foothills of the Beartooth mountains, the Sindelar cabin is a serene stay at Bench Ranch. West Rosebud creek is within walking distance, as well as several other lovely areas to explore in the foothills. Nearby you have access to Mystic Lake, Emerald Lake, Tippet Rise Art Center, and many more outdoor activities. You will be amazed at the night sky which is perfect for stargazing. And during the right time of year, you may witness the elk herds moving through the valley.

River Island House - Riverfront Luxury & Seclusion

Enjoy private luxury in this 2-story cabin at the water's edge on a wooded island. Located on the scenic West Fork of the Stillwater River, you'll find serenity in this beautiful area. Blue-Ribbon trout fishing. Secluded, but a short drive to hiking trails, the Nye Trading Post (convenience store/gas/post office), and Carter's Camp bar/restaurant. Please note: No smoking. It has been updated to include modern amenities while maintaining its historic features, and offers a fantastic view of the Crazy Mountains and Yellowstone River Valley. Checkout our horseback rides that leave daily through the summer from the barn next door.
