There is a lovely 14th Century local church (St George's), a newly opened local pub run by a Masterchef finalist (about 1 mile) and lots of places of interest to visit.

The town has a public golf course and an award winning tennis club. Both are close by and bookable. Marlborough also boasts its own independent cinema.
