The cabin is a destination all on its own. Fish from the pier or banks on the privately managed eight-acre lake. There is a john boat which is quite old, uses paddles, and is in fair shape (feel free to bring your canoe or john boat.). A paddleboat and paddleboard are available for guest use and swimming. Enjoy walking the property and visit the onsite hoop house and orchard for free seasonal fruits and vegetables. Have fun by the outside fire pit roasting marshmallows with friends and family!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place. Fish in McDowell Lake. Boat launch for both the Lake and the Alabama River are within walking distance. Free access. Fifteen minutes from Selma. Forever Wild hunting is nearby. There is a partially covered deck/porch with table, chairs and Blackstone grill. Fishing is free to guests. A peddle boat and canoe are available. Kitchen has a gas stove, refrigerator, coffee makers (drip & Keurig), microwave, dishes, pot and pans, sheets and towels.

Boat dockage is good, with average 6' plus water depth at the end of pier, and Fishing Kayaks are onsite for your paddling pleasure. Come enjoy one of the best views on Lake Dannelly!

The Rusty Brick Studio

Come relax at this unique, cozy studio and enjoy a quiet farm setting. The studio is located a mile from Newbern, along a main hwy 10 miles south of Greensboro, 20 east of Demopolis and 50 miles south of Tuscaloosa. The studio has brick floors and the interior wood walls and beams are from reclaimed barn wood. We want our guests to relax with a good cup of coffee, a great night's sleep and time to enjoy an Alabama sunset from the front porch chairs!

Just steps away from some beautifully restored buildings and convenient to the towns lake and walking trails. No pets or smoking inside.

This gorgeous studio apartment is 378 sq ft but it has everything that you need for a comfortable stay. (No stove), king bed, kitchenette with a small love seat, Enjoy your private covered patio area with a bistro set and a gorgeous tent with seating surrounded by patio lights and beautiful plants for the perfect vibe. We now have our new shared laundry shop on the premises.
