Our King Standard rooms are positioned on either the first floor (accessible by ramp) or second floor (accessible by stairs only) of the Inn and offer 320 sq feet of space. Just steps away from all the excitement and exploration that Downtown Manteo offers. Tranquil House Inn is managed by North State Hospitality.

Located off the beaten path in a quaint, residential neighborhood this gem lies in the middle of local heritage and traditional Hatteras Island vibes. Just a short walk to the beach, legendary surf breaks and the Rodanthe Fishing Pier. Property includes a shared swimmimg pool. Formerly the Sea Sound Motel, this property is still family owned and operated. We are updating the spaces and keeping all the charm!
