Outdoor activity includes hammocks, swimming, boating (canoe, kayaks, john boat). For fishing we have boats, nets & fish-dressing station (bring poles & bait). About 13 miles from Palmyra and Monroe, nearest gas and groceries.

Genevieve’s Federal House

This home is a fully restored 1 story Federal house, which you will have full access to. It is located close to the Mark Twain Boyhood Home, and right off Broadway. The house comes furnished with seating, furniture, and 2 Roku televisions. There are two bedrooms, one bathroom, a dining room, living room, and a kitchen. The home has central air conditioning and heating, washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a beautiful clawfoot cast-iron tub with shower. There is off street parking.

Molly’s Riverview Retreat

Wake up and take your coffee out to relax on the same veranda that Molly Brown (the “Unsinkable”) enjoyed when visiting her sister while watching the mighty Mississippi roll by. Built in 1844 by the first Judge in the territory, , Molly was headed to this house when the Titanic sank.
