Welcome to Josie's Cottage where you will enjoy a new kitchen with modern appliances in the comfort of a 100 year old cottage. I'm an old lady with a few scrapes and bumps from years gone by, but charming in every detail. Relax around the open fire in the cooler months and enjoy the privacy of an expansive garden with a new firepit area. I am also equipped with fans and reverse cycle air conditioning throughout. I'm in a quiet area but only a 5 minute walk to all the local shops, pub + clubs

"Anglesey House" Iconic Forbes CBD Heritage Home

"Anglesey House" a two storey, Late Victorian home built in 1884 in the CBD. A wealthy merchant from Anglesey in Wales, loaded two ships with finery that could not be obtained in Australia at the time. William Thomas built Anglesey House with it's seven marble fireplaces, cedar staircase, high and ornate ceilings and sandstone stables in the back garden. Although built in 1884 Anglesey has all of the facilities that are expected in a modern home. More history available in the guest guide.

The Caroo cottage is a well built shack that provides all the necessities that you'll need. From grabbing a cuppa to fishing down on the banks with the kids, it really reveals nature in the best way. From the sunrise to the sunset. Shower and toilet are external access only. It has access to wifi for all your technology needs. Pets are aloud but they are NOT ALLOWED INSIDE THE COTTAGE OR BATHROOM!!! If you would like fishing rods please advise in a message. Enquire for early check in!
