The home is located off the beaten path, 35 minutes to the summit of the Sierra, 20 minutes to historical Placerville and other gold rush attractions, and just a few minutes to many of the apple hill farms. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. You will be greeted with beauty and fantastic views nestled among giant Ponderosa Pines, a wide variety of wildlife and birds galore. Bald eagles have been spotted on occasion! As a guest you will have access to a very private spot on the river where you can try your luck panning for gold or fishing. You can also just relax while reading a good book, skipping rocks or just dip your toes in the water.

This is a cute second story guesthouse. Its’s very private, located on our 83+ acre vineyard/ranch. We have a 6 acre working vineyard and commercially growing Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, and Muscat Canelli The guesthouse has recently been up-dated and is light, airy with many up-scale features and amenities. It’s a very private setting with no immediate neighbors. There are approximately 140 wineries within a 25 mile radius of our place.

A one bedroom gingerbread, ranch style cottage surrounded on two sides by a deck on 11 acres overlooking fields, barns and a vineyard. Open spaces stretch up oak studded hillsides to the west. A pet cow (Olive) and her calf (Rubie) roam the property along with free range chickens and a barn cat (Stanley) Very rural but a short distance to local attractions. A cozy place to relax and wind down for a few days.
