Enjoy walking around the charming streets or walk up to MacArthur Blvd for restaurants, bars, gym & shops. At night, the cabin is surrounded with the gentle chorus of crickets and friendly neighborhood cats, creating a cozy retreat that feels far removed from the city. Yet Highway 580 is just minutes away, close enough for convenience without any of the noise.

This private guest house is located on one of the most prestigious properties in Woodside with it's own private entrance & setting on a 1.5 acre lot. Includes living room, 1 queen bedroom, sofa bed, kitchen and private patio - * There are 15 stairs from where the car is parked to the guest house. Access to basketball court and play structure. No access to the pool/hot tub/fire pit. Close to restaurants, 2 mins from 280 HW, 3 mins to downtown Woodside, 10 mins to Stanford University.

This cabin looks out on a beautiful meadow and woods across a creek from the main house. It has a queen bed and a dry toilet. Shared access to outdoor shower, hot tub, Barbecue, and outdoor kitchen  it is near the road, so there can be noise, but generally quiet at night. The owner lives on the property upstairs in the main house. Other guests may be staying in the main house and in other cabins. We clean Spider (harmless) webs and deter mice but some may be around. Nature is here.

Hike up to a well designed, small-but-mighty modern cabin with fast WiFi, your own hot tub and a panoramic view spanning across the bay from the Golden Gate to the San Mateo bridge. 108 stairs lead up to the Aerie, so if you don’t want to get your steps in, this is probably not the space for you! 15 min from OAK and city life, but a world away. Sunsets are glorious here. The Aerie is a special spot just for 1 or 2, so leave the posse behind. Registered guests only.

Nasturtium Cabin at Venture Retreat

Step back in time and enjoy the simple charm of the Nasturtium Cabin, a cozy two-room cabin. This features two adjoining bedrooms connected by an interior door. Each room includes one double bed and one twin bed, comfortably accommodating up to six guests total. The bathroom is located a short walk from the cabin. If your preferred dates are unavailable, please send us a message. This cabin may also be combined with additional accommodations for larger groups.

Located in the heart of Oakland's Temescal District, in is only a block and a half to the MacArthur BART Station. Walk to Kaiser Oakland; and Summit Alta Bates Hospitals, in an area vibrant with shopping, bars, restaurants, venues & Whole Foods. Enjoy your quiet and private accommodations.
