Located a ten minute drive from downtown and less to several beaches, UCSB, and the airport. NOTE: The Cottage is TINY and simply appointed. Perfect for a solo traveler or cozy couple with a double (not queen) bed, mini kitchen and living room. Access requires climbing stone steps pictured.

Petite Retreat; Artist Studio

Our detached Spanish-style artist’s studio is within a 3 to 15 minute walk of all the best restaurants and shops in the lower Village of Montecito. It is an easy four block walk from the patio to beautiful Butterfly Beach. It is cozy, private and has a fabulous, hot, outside shower ! (Note; this shower is the only shower for the studio). Gaze at the stars while rinsing off the sand ! The studio space is small, and cozy, warm radiant concrete floors can be turned on in the chillier months.

This ideal location is walking distance to many popular spots in Montecito; Coast Village Road the Rosewood Miramar Hotel, Butterfly Beach. This home has an upstairs loft with one king bed and downstairs includes a queen size pull out couch. We are a ten minute walk from Devereux beach, UCSB and its lagoon, and only an 8 minute drive from both the Santa Barbara airport and Goleta Amtrak station.

Our STUDIO is furnished with a queen bed and sofa bed (full), bath w claw foot tub and ocean view deck, TV, & off-street parking. Dog friendly!
