Come enjoy our home in beautiful Buena Vista in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Not only are we just a few blocks to SVU's campus and close to VMI & W&L, we are very close to many hiking trails, the Safari Park, Natural Bridge, the Blue Ridge Parkway, on the edge of the Washington National Forest and many other outdoor activities. This is a brand new home that is clean, modern and inviting. We have an outdoor deck with seating and twinkle lights that can be particularly enjoyed in the spring and fall!

Our cabin is close to the Blue Ridge Parkway, Appalachian Trail, and the James River with many outdoor activities within minutes. Our cabin will accommodate 2 people based upon septic system and rules and regulations set by Bedford County . Our cabin is not kid friendly (infant-10 y). Please message us with any questions. Come back from sightseeing or from a hike and relax in the hammock, 6 person hot tub, or by fire pit.

‼️PLEASE NOTE: The driveway is well-maintained gravel, but it is steep. To preserve its condition and avoid getting spinning tires, 4 wheel drive or all-wheel drive is highly recommended. This gem of a cabin is nestled in a beautiful part of Virginia, surrounded by the majestic George Washington National Forest. Woody’s is only 30 minutes from Madison Heights and 37 minutes from downtown Lynchburg.

With over 800sqft, this newly renovated basement unit is spacious, beautiful, clean and cozy. We are serious about coffee, so we’ve outfitted a great coffee bar. Make yourself a cup using our Nespresso, or go traditional with a Chemex and ground beans. As a courtesy, we provide some light breakfast options - cereal and oatmeal packets.

Our cabin is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts and people from all backgrounds are welcome.

Little Gallery House Near Natural Bridge

The Little Gallery House, near Natural Bridge, is part of an old Civilian Conservation Corps Camp, then juvenile detention center, now a campground and artist community, called Thunder BRidge. There are 100 acres to explore, bordering the Jefferson National Forest, with hiking trails and just 2 miles from the James River. This would be an ideal place for family to meet if some of you want to camp and others would like a real house. There is a queen bed and a day bed.

The Woodland Cottage

Have fun with the whole family at this stylish place. Close to Glen Maury Park, SVU and Lexington Va. close to Horse a center and Safari Park. Home has nice cover front porch and deck in back. One bedroom with a queen bed and tv mounted on wall. Living room with 43 inch Roku tv with a full size sleeper sofa. 2 nd bedroom with a full bed. Bathroom has a stand up shower only. Little Cabin in the Woods is quiet and secluded!

Enjoy our rustic, cozy, historic log cabin in the woods on 21 acres with two streams and a little meadow. The logs, from the 1800's, were reconfigured 17 years ago combining a rich history with high speed internet and modern amenities. Sink into the luscious bed with totally organic sheets, mattress topper, and pillows. Take a walk on the original wagon train road down to a stream or bath your senses in the majestic view of Jump Mountain from the meadow.
