Oak Framed Home with Countryside Views

Get back in touch with nature at this luxury cabin nestled in a quiet hamlet. Find tranquility on the terrace surrounded by breathtaking views, or lounge amid thoughtful decor and chic modern finishes in the exposed oak beam interior. Blue Vale is brand new as of June 2018! We helped to design this green oak framed building and have been involved in the whole process of building it, doing much of it ourselves. For our colour scheme we have used different shades of blue throughout, playing on the name of Blue Vale. The furnishing and finishing touches are of a high standard to help promote a comfortable and luxurious finish. There is an eclectic style combining modern country with industrial finishes. Luxury, high thread cotton bedding and towels, large flat screen smart tv's and luxury Neals Yard toiletries help to give the top-end finishing touches we would appreciate if we stayed away from home. Blue Vale is completely self contained but sits in the grounds of our family home. The decked outdoor living space is screened by trellis on the garden side with fields on the other. You would be very welcome to walk around our garden. We can be as interactive as you wish. With living in the same grounds we are close at hand if needed. We will welcome you when you arrive but will be respectful of your privacy. The glorious Blackmore Vale landscape is a tapestry of farmed green fields with a sprinkling of English villages, of which Sandley is one. Walk out (or cycle, using our available bikes) onto country lanes and venture along a web of footpaths to discover this unspoilt part of Dorset. Visit Stourhead, stroll around the ancient towns of Sherborne or Shaftesbury or discover the beautiful Jurassic coast. Visit Longleat safari park, Haynes Motor Museum, Monkey world & Yeovilton Air Museum. Sandley is a quiet hamlet with the neighbouring village of Buckhorn Weston just a mile away. The Stapleton Arms pub can be found here. We are 10 minutes away from the towns of Gillingham and Wincanton where various supermarkets, shops and services are. There is a train station in Gillingham which has a direct route to London in less than 2 hours. The larger cities of Bath and Salisbury are less than an hours drive and it takes around an hour to drive to the beautiful Jurassic coastline. The historic towns of Shaftesbury and Sherborne are only 15 and 20 minutes away respectively. The quiet rural roads and bridleways of the Blackmore Vale are excellent for cycling and walking. Blue Vale is in the grounds of our family home. There is a one- bedroomed B&B facility on the ground floor of our home.

Anytime of the year is wonderful here. Enjoy coastal walks,cosy pubs,long sandy beaches and scrumptious food . 52 was fully renovated recently so everything is sparkly and new and finished to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings and lovely artwork. We have lovely views of Capstone Hill and plenty of outside dining space.The master bedroom has a balcony accessed via patio doors .The master bedroom and twin have beautiful ensuites a family bathroom is located next door to the bunk room. The apartment has been finished to a very high standard with quality fixtures and fittings,lovely art work and everything you could need for a relaxing break by the sea. Parking close by with permit included for 7 night stays. Well behaved dogs will be considered by request at £15 extra. You have access to the whole apartment.1 other apartment shares the main entrance. I am always available by text or phone and live nearby . You will have key code access to the property on arrival so you can arrive at your leisure. Situated on Ilfracombes oldest and most historic Street, the property is doors away from Thomas Carr’s Michelin star restaurant and a short walk from Tunnels beaches.Take a stroll to the harbour and enjoy one of the many watering holes and eateries Walking around Ilfracombe is the easiest way to get around ....with a few hills! Regular buses will take you to the beaches of Woolacombe and Croyde . Parking can be found just down the road and is readily available throughout the town. We will give you a permit if you are here for the week. The apartment occupies ground and lower ground floor; access via the front door to the bedroom floor of the apartment with a staircase to lower floor to the large open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen. There is a spacious terrace with table and chairs for al-fresco drinks and dining.

The Potting Shed is a light, homely space, cleverly and beautifully designed, with a luxury bed to rest in after a day walking on the moor or at the beach. A peaceful, private hideaway, which is accessible, with underfloor heating, wood burning stove and skylights. Open 2 sets of bi-folding doors to let fresh country breezes circulate. Wander out to a split-level garden for a spot of sunshine. There are plenty of spaces to relax inside and out, with patios to the side and rear, a back garden and the handcrafted bat palace to sit in whatever the weather or evening time with a fire. The Potting Shed and studio building in our garden on the edge of the National Park in the unique town of Ashburton. The Potting Shed overlooks Place woods and is a secluded eco space designed and built by us with thermostatically controlled underfloor heating, powered by an air source heat pump and Morso wood burning stove. In the summer, open both bifold doors to experience birdsong and take in the beautiful green canvas of trees ahead of you. We have created a light, homely space with design classics and luxury bed to rest after a day walking on the moor or at the beach. There are plenty of spaces to relax inside and out, with patio spaces to the side and rear of the property, a back garden and behind the handcrafted bat palace. Pick your time and your spot to hang out and enjoy the BBQ /firepit. There is plenty of parking on the lane however there is a dedicated parking space for guest at the property. We are close to a local school which also runs a sports centre (Ashmoor Centre), where guests can book tennis courts, attend exercise classes and a gym after 3.30pm in term times and all day at the weekends and during school holidays. There may be some ambient noise in the distance from the school during term time.

Ultramodern Loft in a Renovated Church in the Cotswolds

The entrance to the apartment is on the first floor, with the bedroom & ensuite bathroom upstairs (there is a cloakroom downstairs) There is not designated parking, but there is on street parking in New Street< Dunstan Avenue and the New Street public car park is a 2 minute walk away. Normally I am around to welcome you and show you around The Loft. If I am away, there is a key pad to enter the building and a key box to let you into the apartment. The apartment is in Chipping Norton, a pretty Cotswold working town surrounded by glorious countryside. It's close to award-winning pubs, Soho Farmhouse and Daylesford, and is within 10 minutes of 3 festivals: Cornbury, Wilderness, and Feastival. Chipping Norton is connected to Oxford & Banbury by the bus. The nearest mainline station is Kingham, which has regular trains from London (Paddington). This is a 5 minute drive away.

Renovated Georgian Courtyard Apartment by Royal Crescent

The flat has 2 bedrooms, the main bedroom has a king size bedroom and the very cosy stylish second bedroom had a double bedroom with a vaulted ceiling. Both have the finest 100% French linen sheets and fluffy white towels. I have 100% response rate with Airbnb. I will try to get back within an hour unless I am sleeping and there is a time difference. Set just behind the iconic Royal Crescent, the hip neighbourhood includes a deli and greengrocer. One of Bath's best gastropubs.

Idyllic Country House on a Farm

The house is in the middle of beautiful Devon countryside, on 100 acres of land not far from a small town. There are good pubs nearby and the house is only 7 minutes drive from the National Trust's Killerton House. The Nearest station is Tiverton Parkway, 10 minutes drive. Only 25 minutes drive from the centre of Exeter. One of the UKs most attractive cities. The nearest beach is at least 40 minutes away so this location is not suitable for a beach holiday.
